Ken Barney, President
Ken served as vice president and general manager of INTRAL Corporation, overseeing the daily operations and finances of the company for nearly twenty years, before assuming his current position in January of 2007. Prior to founding INTRAL, Ken held various management positions with The Gillette Company for twenty years, including manager of international transportation and materials services for Gillette International and, before that, manager of the division's international transportation section. Before joining Gillette International in 1975, Ken worked in various accounting groups with The Gillette Company. Ken has a B.S.- B.A. degree from Salem State College with an emphasis on accounting. He is a past director and president of the New England Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of a Massachusetts community mutual bank. Ken enjoys family events as well as boating, fishing and travelling.

Rick Rodes, Director of Client Services
Rick, a member of the founding management team of INTRAL Corporation, brings to the firm nearly thirty years of experience in the field of International Logistics and Supply Chain Management. For nearly twenty-three years at INTRAL, he has managed client accounts, business operations and customer service. Just prior to joining INTRAL, Rick worked five years with the International Transportation and Materials Services Department of The Gillette Company in Boston, MA. His various positions there included Transportation Analyst, Planner Analyst, Assistant Manager and Manager. Previous to that, Rick worked at American Cyanamid Company in Wayne, NJ, and Lederle Labs in Westwood, MA. Rick holds a B.S. degree from Northeastern University with a duel major in Logistics Management and Marketing. Over the years, he has taken many business courses and attended trade seminars in relevant areas such as Logistics, Supply Chain and Regulatory Compliance. In his local community he has served as a Town Meeting Member and currently as an Environmental Hazards Committee Member. He has traveled the world extensively for both business and pleasure and also enjoys skiing, running and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Tom Boyce, Director of Client Services
Tom is a founding member of INTRAL Corporation and brings to the firm over thirty-five years of experience in the field of international logistics and supply chain management and operations. For twenty-two years he has managed client relationships, systems and daily operations at INTRAL. Prior to joining INTRAL, Tom held various positions for seventeen years with The Gillette Company. The last twelve of those were spent in the International Transportation and Materials Services Department of Gillette International. Tom’s international experience began as an export packer. Over the years he has progressed through a series of promotions, first as a Traffic Scheduler and later as an Export Coordinator, Supervisor, Asst. Manager Systems/Administration, and Manager Systems/Administration. In addition to holding his degree in Business Management from Newbury College, Tom also served in the United States Army Signal Corp. during the Vietnam conflict. Tom currently resides in scenic central Massachusetts with his wife, of 35 years. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, home improvement projects, traveling, and spending time with his three children.

Bob Orenberg, Director of Information Technology
For over twenty years, Bob has been responsible for all facets of INTRAL’s hardware and software systems; including networking and security, user support and training, maintenance and troubleshooting as well as the design, development and testing of INTRAL’s proprietary supply chain management software. A recognized industry leader in his knowledge of international supply chain application development, Bob’s experience includes the development of a wide variety of software including custom data transfer interfaces to client ERP systems; desktop and web-based product demand planning and order management; warehousing and inventory control; shipment documentation production; and a wide variety of analysis and reporting tools. He has also recently developed a number of regulatory compliance-related applications including a U.S. Census AES reporting interface for U.S. exports, an ISF reporting interface for U.S. imports, a denied party screening tool, and an HTS / Schedule B product classification engine. Bob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and an MBA from Suffolk University. In his spare time you can usually find him reading, playing his guitar and drums, watching the Red Sox, and spending lots of fun time with his daughter.

Tammy Lee, Trade Counsel
Tammy joined INTRAL Corporation as Trade Counsel in the fall of 2006. Tammy specializes in U.S. export and import regulatory compliance. Her expertise encompasses the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. Customs and Border Protection Regulations, AES/EEI and highly technical Schedule B and Harmonized Tariff Code classifications. She is also knowledgeable in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and preparing license applications and commodity classification requests on the SNAP-R system. Tammy consults to a wide spectrum of clients across every major industry segment. She regularly conducts assessments of Exporters’ and Importers’ compliance controls, prepares customized corporate policy and procedure manuals and conducts training programs. She is a member of a number of trade organizations including The Compliance Alliance and ICPA and keeps current on legislative initiatives and rulings. She has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Management from the University of Vermont and graduated from Suffolk University Law School, cum laude with an International Law concentration with distinction. Tammy has been admitted to the Massachusetts, Maine and Minnesota Bars. She enjoys many outdoor sports including hiking, running, downhill and water skiing. During her academic career Tammy participated in multiple study abroad programs and is constantly seeking out her next trip.
